Banana Flower Patty

  • Chopped Onion - 3 tsp
  • Chopped Green Chilly - 1 tsp
  • Chopped Fresh Coriander -1 tsp
  • Crushed Green Peas - 3 tsp
  • Grated Boiled Arbi (Taro)- 300 gm
  • Besan (Gram Flour) - 2 tsp
  • Corn Flour - 1 tsp
  • Chopped Garlic - 2 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Red Chilly Powder - ½ tsp
  • Turmeric – ½ tsp
  • Coriander Powder - ½ tsp
  • Jeera Powder - ½ tsp
  • Chat Masala - ½ tsp
  • Chopped Banana Flower - 150 gm
  • Lemon Juice - 5 ml
  • Oil - 300 ml

Method

Step 1:- Take a bowl and add chopped onion - 3 tsp, chopped green chilly - 1 tsp, chopped fresh coriander -1 tsp, crushed green peas - 3 tsp, grated boiled Arbi (Taro)- 300 gm, besan (gram flour) - 2 tsp, corn flour - 1 tsp, chopped garlic - 2 tsp, salt - to taste, red chilly powder - ½ tsp, turmeric – ½ tsp, coriander powder - ½ tsp, jeera powder - ½ tsp, chat masala - ½ tsp, chopped banana flower - 150 gm, lemon Juice - 5 ml.
Mix it nicely.


Step 2:- Take a pinch of gram flour and corn flour in hand and make round patty with the above mixture.


Step 3:- Deep fry in moderate heated oil till the patty gets cooked and golden brown in color.


Step 4:- Sprinkle ½ tsp chat masala. Garnish with julienne vegetables.

Service hot with mint chutney!
