Onion ring

“An all-time famous and mouth-watering snacks or cocktail starter. Crispy onion rings twisted with sour cream will be perfect choice. It will create a lime light on your table.”
  • Onion – 2 medium sizes
  • Refined flour – 150 gm
  • Corn flour – 50 gm
  • Tempura flour / Rice flour – 70 gm
  • Baking powder – ½ tsp
  • Oil – 300 ml

Step 1(Batter preparation): -

Take refined flour – 30gm

Corn flour – 50 gm

Rice flour / Tempura flour – 70 gm

Chilled water – 100 ml (mix accordingly, to make proper consistent batter)

Baking powder – ½ tsp

Salt to taste

Mix all the ingredients together along with chilled water & make smooth coating batter, rest for 30 minutes.

Step 2: -

Cut onion in thick slices & take out the circular rings.

Step 3: -

Dust onion rings with refined flour to coat the batter.

Step 4: -

Now dip dusted onion ring in the batter & deep fry in moderately hot oil. Fry till it gets cooked, golden and crisp.

Step 5: -

Serve hot with ‘Sour Cream’.
